GFSC AML/CFT Handbook Revisions
Members of the Committee met last week with Fiona Crocker and Paul Robinson of the GFSC regarding the revisions to the AML/CFT Handbook. The discussions focused on Chapter 8: Enhanced CDD. A copy of the latest draft of this chapter is attached, together with a memo from the Commission.
The Commission are looking for your comments and have asked us, and our fellow industry bodies, to collate those. To enable us to do so, we shall look forward to receiving your responses by 15 March 2018 to give us time to provide them to the Commission by their requested date. This is a good opportunity for you to have your say in the process. We shall look forward to hearing from you, even if your firm is raising points through other industry bodies, as it will be you, our members: the Compliance Officers, who will likely be implementing the changes.
