Stephen is a senior associate in Walkers’ Guernsey office, where he is a member of the Corporate, Finance and Investment Funds Groups. Stephen specialises in advising on investment funds and general corporate and commercial matters. He also has a particular expertise advising in relation to FinTech businesses, including distributed ledger, online prime brokerage, FX trading, payment and 'robo' investment advisory platforms. Stephen regularly acts for investment managers, advisers, custodians, institutional investors, including sovereign wealth funds and pension funds, as well as start-ups, and he frequently speaks at events regarding investment management, financial innovation and new technologies. Stephen also has a background in commercial litigation, employment law, IP and IT.
