GFSC Exit Interviews for MLROs & MLCOs – Workshop
Mon, 24 August 2020 at 12:10 PM
Following the announcement earlier in the year that the GFSC would be conducting exit interviews with MLROs and MLCOs, the scope and duration of the pilot scheme was extended last month. Encompassing banks, fiduciary firms, the legal sector and investment businesses, the scheme aims to provide supervisory teams at the GFSC a greater degree of understanding around the roles, responsibilities and challenges faced by those at the “coal face”. It also brings with it a number of questions around the implications of information being provided, the impact on the regulated market and what taking part means for individuals.
GACO is hosting a lunchtime workshop on 24 August at Les Cotils where we will explore some of the issues arising, consider the impact on individuals and businesses and share and discuss experiences of the scheme.
Whilst there will be a presentation on the considerations arising, this session is designed to be interactive and for affected individuals and businesses to share views and experiences, with a view to providing feedback and views to the GFSC as appropriate.
